The Qatar Central Bank’s Monetary Policy Committee cut its key interest rates by 25 bp, lowering the QCB Deposit Rate to 4.35%, the QCB Lending Rate to 4.85% and the QCB Repo Rate to 4.60% with effect from 18 September 2025, after concluding an assessment of current monetary policy. The move is the first adjustment after the committee had kept the three benchmarks unchanged at 4.60%, 5.10% and 4.85% respectively since at least January 2025.
