The Central Bank of Timor-Leste has granted a final license to Finance Hub, S.A. to conduct financial activities in Timor-Leste. The decision means the company is authorized to operate as a finance company in the country. The license was granted after the central bank assessed the application and concluded that all requirements under its instruction on the licensing and supervision of finance companies had been met. The assessment covered the financial capacity of shareholders, the qualifications of administrators and the reasonableness of the business plan. The central bank said the company’s entry is expected to support growth and competition in the financial sector, expand access to financial services and contribute to Timor-Leste’s economic development.
