The Financial Action Task Force of Latin America approved the Second Technical Compliance Re-Rating Report of Bolivia, updating the country’s technical compliance ratings based on progress made in addressing previously identified deficiencies. Recommendation 7 was re-rated to “Compliant”, while Recommendations 24 and 35 were re-rated to “Largely Compliant”. The report reviews Bolivia’s progress in remedying technical compliance shortcomings highlighted in earlier reports, with GAFILAT representatives also noting additional measures taken to strengthen the country’s AML/CFT framework.
