The Angola Insurance Authority (ARSEG) held a working meeting with the Directorate-General of the National Public Procurement Service (SNCP) to align strategies aimed at increasing oversight of compulsory insurance required for works contracts under the public procurement framework. The coordination focused on improving supervision of mandatory coverages, including occupational accidents and diseases for the contractor’s employees or workers providing services on site, insurance for damage to the works for the contract value specified in the relevant agreement, third-party civil liability insurance, and the contractor’s professional liability insurance. The meeting took place on 24 January at the SNCP’s premises.
