The Capital Markets Academy of the Kuwait Capital Markets Authority (CMA) signed a memorandum of understanding with Boubyan Bank to set a framework for joint cooperation on financial-sector training and research, and on raising public awareness of securities activity, including the benefits, risks and investor obligations. The partnership is intended to support specialised programmes to develop financial investment skills using up-to-date research and international training methods, and to leverage Boubyan Bank’s experience through Boubyan Business School. The agreement also covers exchange of technical and professional expertise, the use of Academy programmes including professional certificates and CISI-approved tests and bank-specific training, and the provision of field training opportunities at Boubyan for participants in the Kuwaiti Training and Qualification Program, with the possibility of employing top-performing trainees. The Academy and the bank also plan joint awareness activities linked to the CMA’s financial inclusion and investment awareness project, including designing training content, identifying target groups and organising events under a defined time plan.
