The Guernsey Financial Services Commission has notified businesses that details for Limited Liability Company Ozon Bank have been amended under the Russia sanctions regime. Ozon Bank remains designated and subject to an asset freeze under UK sanctions implemented in the Bailiwick of Guernsey. All businesses must check for accounts, assets or other relationships connected to Ozon Bank and other designated persons, freeze relevant funds and economic resources immediately, and report findings to the Policy & Resources Committee. They must not make funds or economic resources available to designated persons or entities they own or control unless permitted by a derogation or licence. Regulated firms identifying an affected relationship must also report it to the Commission as soon as reasonably practicable after meeting their statutory reporting obligations, including the relevant party’s name, the nature of the relationship or transaction, and the transaction or asset value.
