The China Securities Regulatory Commission and the Monetary Authority of Singapore held the ninth China-Singapore Securities and Futures Regulatory Roundtable in Datong, Shanxi, and agreed to further deepen practical capital markets cooperation, including by using the roundtable mechanism to strengthen exchanges and mutual learning. The two sides reviewed progress in bilateral cooperation, including continued expansion of exchange-traded fund connectivity, strengthened index cooperation and support for each other’s financial institutions to invest and conduct business in the other market. Discussions covered recent capital markets reform and development measures, investor protection mechanisms, supervision of futures and derivatives, risk monitoring of non-bank financial institutions and oversight of listed companies.
