The Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) and the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) of Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) have entered into a memorandum of understanding to enhance regulatory cooperation in supervising investment managers of collective investment schemes based in either market. The MoU establishes a framework for consultation, cooperation and information exchange relating to the supervision and oversight of regulated entities conducting cross-border fund management, investment management or advisory activities. The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the International Organization of Securities Commissions annual general meeting in Doha and is intended to facilitate cross-market industry collaboration, including around investment delegation and master-feeder fund offering structures.
