The Portuguese Insurance and Pension Funds Supervisory Authority has signed a cooperation protocol with Angola's Insurance Regulation and Supervision Agency to strengthen cooperation between the two regulators and support the balanced and sustainable development of their insurance and pension fund sectors. The agreement covers information exchange, professional training, technical assistance and advisory work. Signed in Lisbon on 14 May 2026 by the heads of ASF and ARSEG, the protocol sets a general framework for joint actions including exchanges of publications and technical studies, sharing of non-confidential regulatory and supervisory information and documentation, training courses and internships for technical staff and specialist groups, and the preparation of studies, projects and opinions of common interest within the two authorities' mandates.
