The Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) announced that the Eastern Magistrates’ Court has further adjourned the insider dealing case against Wong Pak Ming to 25 April 2025 for mention in the criminal proceedings commenced by the SFC. Wong is charged with insider dealing involving the shares of Transmit Entertainment Limited, formerly known as Pegasus Entertainment Holdings Limited. The allegation is that, while chairman and controlling shareholder of the company and in possession of inside information, he counselled or procured another person to deal in the shares around 25 August 2017 to 17 October 2017. Bail was extended on the conditions of a cash bail of HKD 200,000, residence at his stated address with prior police notification of any change, and notification to the SFC 24 hours before leaving Hong Kong. The matter will return to court on 25 April 2025, with directions issued on paper.
