The Seychelles Financial Services Authority issued a scam alert warning investors, licensees and the public about the website https://primecapital.ws/, which it says falsely claims that Prime Capital Ltd is authorised and regulated by the Authority under licence number SD31. The Authority said Prime Capital Ltd is not known to it, does not hold a valid licence and is not regulated by the Seychelles Financial Services Authority, and that the website is not linked to any entity licensed or regulated by the Authority. It urged the public to carry out adequate research on entities, service providers and representatives before conducting business or sharing money or personal details, and noted it will not be liable for losses if people continue to engage with the referenced website.
