The State Bank of Vietnam issued a Governor’s decision appointing Mr Trinh Cong Van as Director of the State Bank of Vietnam Region 3 Branch and held a conference in Son La to announce and hand over the appointment. Decision No. 79/QD-NHNN appoints Van from 19 January 2026 for a five-year term, following his period as Acting Director. The Governor highlighted the branch’s management remit across three northern mountainous provinces and tasked the branch’s leadership to closely follow Party and State orientations; Van pledged to lead the branch in a safe, efficient and sustainable direction and to work closely with local authorities and relevant agencies.
