The Central Bank of Argentina has launched the Transparency Regime API to standardize access to information that financial institutions are legally required to publish. The API provides open endpoints without registration, enabling streamlined querying and updating of information on financial products and services, with the aim of simplifying system integration and ensuring up-to-date data. Version 1.0 supplements the Central Bank’s existing set of APIs and covers information on savings accounts, product bundles, time deposits, pledge loans, mortgage loans, personal loans, and credit cards. The endpoints include items such as fees, interest rates, minimum amounts, terms, effective annual rates, eligibility requirements, and available channels, and are supported by technical documentation, examples and user guides.
