The National Bank of Ukraine published an update on its special fundraising account for supporting Ukraine’s defense forces, reporting that about UAH 4.6 billion was transferred for defense needs in October 2025. As of 1 November 2025, the account balance exceeded UAH 33.7 billion, and over UAH 34.3 billion was received into the account during October. Since the start of the full-scale war, the account has received the equivalent of over UAH 120.6 billion, including almost UAH 99 billion remitted from abroad in foreign currencies. Cumulative allocations from the account exceeded UAH 86.8 billion, including over UAH 39,069 million for the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and over UAH 31,500 million for the Defense Procurement Agency, alongside disbursements to the State Service of Special Communication and Information Protection (over UAH 8,181 million, with small amounts of unused funds returned in October), Defence Intelligence of Ukraine (over UAH 1,491 million), the National Guard (over UAH 1,649 million), the National Police (UAH 1,650 million), and other security, emergency, transport, military unit and regional administration needs. The NBU noted that the account balance is updated daily on its website and that donations can be made via bank transfer or by card.
