The Bank of the Lao PDR held a dissemination workshop to align its internal departments on the bank’s approach to drafting regulatory instruments and related documentation, with the aim of ensuring consistent understanding and implementation across the organisation. The programme covered the bank’s agreement on regulatory drafting, drafting techniques for instruments issued by the Governor and department heads, guidance on preparing supporting documents, the end-to-end drafting process, evaluation of implementation outcomes, and the repeal of existing instruments. The one-day session brought together 73 participants from across the bank and was chaired by Phansak Kaenvongphachan, with presentations led by Kikaew Saenthavisouk, Deputy Head of the Bank’s Office, and team.
