The Isle of Man Financial Services Authority announced a biannual AML forum on 7 October 2025 to brief heads of compliance at supervised firms on the MONEYVAL mutual evaluation process and the Island’s preparations for the evaluation scheduled for October 2026. The session at the Manx Museum Lecture Theatre will cover progress on updating the Island’s National Risk Assessment, a high-level timetable of key milestones for the mutual evaluation, and an overview of MONEYVAL country training and what will be expected of firms. Senior officers from the Authority and the Isle of Man Government’s AML/CFT Policy Office will deliver short presentations, followed by an open Q&A panel, with additional opportunities for informal engagement before and after the main session. Attendance is limited to one place per supervised entity and the content will repeat material shared with the Alliance of Isle of Man Compliance Professionals the previous week. Places can be reserved via Eventbrite, and the presentations will be recorded and shared with stakeholders through the Authority’s website and social media channels.
