At its Annual General Meeting, the National Bank of Belgium re-elected Frédéric Rouvez, Géraldine Van der Stichele and Griet Smaers as regents, and elected Amaury Stas de Richelle, Etienne de Callataÿ, Anne Vereecke, Annelore Van Hecke and Bart Buysse as regents. The meeting also reappointed KPMG Réviseurs d’entreprises Bedrijfsrevisoren, represented by Stephane Nolf, as company auditor for a further three-year term. Following these decisions, the Council of Regency consists of the five members of the Board of Directors led by Governor Pierre Wunsch, five regents appointed on the proposal of the social partners, and nine regents appointed on the proposal of the minister of finance. The newly elected members are split across those two appointment channels, with Bart Buysse joining the social partner nominees and the other four newly elected regents joining the minister of finance nominees.
