The Cayman Islands Monetary Authority has extended the filing deadline to 7 July 2025 for funds with a 31 December 2024 financial year-end that are ready to submit audited financial statements and the Fund Annual Return but have been unable to file due to technical disruptions. No penalties will be imposed during the extended period, and the relevant filing options will remain available through the Authority’s REEFS Portal until 7 July 2025. Funds with financial year-ends after 31 December 2024 must continue to meet the standard requirement to file within six months of the year-end or submit a formal extension request with the applicable fee.
