The Securities and Exchange Regulator of Cambodia (SERC) participated in and presided over a training programme titled “Intelligent Investment”, organised in Phnom Penh by Acleda Securities Plc. (ACS) in collaboration with Western University to disseminate securities market knowledge to university students. The programme covered investment basics, investment strategies aimed at generating profits in the securities sector, mutual fund investing, and the process for opening trading accounts. Speakers were drawn from SERC, the Cambodia Securities Exchange, ACS and Banjaran Asset Management (Cambodia) Plc., and around 260 professors and students attended.
