The Central Bank of Paraguay has announced the winners of the seventh edition of its annual Central Banking Contest Committed to Education, which asked students to produce audiovisual material on the importance of saving. The winning entries were selected from short videos on the theme of saving as a healthy habit, with first place awarded to Colegio Experimental Paraguay Brasil and second and third places awarded to Colegio Salesianito. Under the contest rules, first and second place were chosen by a jury using content, creativity, technical quality and message relevance as the main criteria. Third place went to the video that received the highest number of likes on the BCP Educa Facebook account. More than 60 videos were submitted by students from schools across the country. The annual contest is aimed at third-year upper secondary students from schools recognized by the Ministry of Education and Sciences, with each participant supported by a teacher tutor. Its stated purpose is to promote interest and understanding in economic and financial topics.
