The Financial Superintendence of Colombia announced free in-person consumer service sessions in Montería, Córdoba, on July 28 and 29. The sessions will allow consumers to file petitions, complaints, claims and commendations related to services provided by the supervisor, receive guidance on financial products, and raise disputes involving supervised financial institutions. At Casa del Consumidor, users will also be able to seek extrajudicial conciliation to pursue a direct settlement with an entity supervised by the Financial Superintendence of Colombia and file actions for a Superintendency judge to resolve disputes with institutions in the Colombian financial system. The service covers matters involving banks, insurers, financial cooperatives, trust companies, pension funds and broker-dealers. Hours are 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on July 28 and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on July 29.
