The discussion covered the state of Tajikistan’s banking system, implementation of international requirements and standards, and measures to strengthen supervisory mechanisms, risk management and compliance in financial credit institutions. During the meeting, the central bank’s chair outlined steps it has taken to support banking system stability, meet international supervisory and risk management requirements, and reinforce compliance at financial credit institutions. The parties also indicated that they would continue cooperation and expand ties in areas of mutual interest.
