The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic has completed its recertification under ISO/IEC 27001:2022 for information security management, extending the certified scope to the administration of its Real-Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) system (LBTR). The recertification was validated by Der Norske Veritas (DNV) following an external audit. The central bank has maintained ISO/IEC 27001 certification since 2012 for its investment certificates process, and the audit preparation was coordinated by its Cybersecurity and Information Security Department with support from other units. The bank linked the recertification to strengthening stakeholder confidence in information security and privacy across the certified processes.
