The Bank of England appointed Carlos Conceicao and Alexander Justham to its Enforcement Decision Making Committee, effective September 2026. The committee decides contested enforcement cases across the Bank’s statutory regimes, including prudential regulation, financial market infrastructures, resolution and critical third parties. Conceicao brings experience in regulatory disputes and investigations from Clifford Chance, the Financial Services Authority and the criminal bar. Justham has more than 35 years of public and private sector experience, including senior roles at the London Stock Exchange, the Financial Services Authority and UBS Wealth Management UK & Jersey. Committee members serve five-year terms and may be reappointed once.
