Speaking at the Second Azerbaijan International Investment Forum, Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan Governor Taleh Kazimov called for regulators to adopt more agile, data based approaches in an environment of heightened uncertainty. He emphasized the role of foreign investment in diversifying Azerbaijan’s economy and identified the country’s macroeconomic indicators, financial stability and international ratings as foundations for investor confidence. The forum discussion addressed directing international capital toward infrastructure, industry and regional connectivity projects, as well as expanding partnerships among multilateral development banks, private investors and financial institutions. Participants also considered how credit ratings and market information shape investor confidence.
