The Bank of Albania said Governor Gent Sejko met Center of Excellence in Finance Director Jana Repanšek to review their cooperation on professional capacity development and knowledge sharing and to discuss ways to expand it. The talks focused in particular on banking supervision, future training activities and experience-sharing among regional counterpart institutions. The Center of Excellence in Finance noted that, over the past two years, Bank of Albania experts and staff recorded more than 55 participations in its flagship programmes, both as subject-matter experts and as participants. The meeting also aligned views ahead of the Annual Meeting of the CEF Governing Board on 22 June 2026 in Skopje, with discussions covering the institution’s strategic priorities, the financing of its activities and the role of member countries in supporting its continued work.
