The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a training seminar with experts from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development on International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) Master Agreements, aimed at Central Bank staff, commercial banks, local legal consulting firms and other financial market participants. The programme covered the main types of derivative financial instruments and their practical use, the structure of the ISDA Master Agreement and related documentation, and the role of legal opinions in supporting the legal execution and enforceability of securities and derivatives transactions. The seminar was run in an interactive format, including Q&A and participant discussion.
