The Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF) announced a new mapping initiative with Qichacha (QCC) that creates a certified link between the Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) and the QCC Code used on QCC’s Chinese business information platform. The partnership provides for monthly publication of open-source mapping files in CSV format connecting LEIs and QCC Codes. QCC’s database covers more than 500 million legal entities, and the mapping is intended to improve international visibility of Chinese companies and support data users’ workflows for regulatory reporting and due diligence by using the LEI as a global data connector.
