Estonia's Financial Supervision and Resolution Authority granted ERGO Insurance SE permission to merge with Lithuania's Akcinė draudimo bendrovė Gjensidige, allowing ERGO to complete the merger and absorb Gjensidige's assets, rights, liabilities and insurance portfolio after assessing the firms' financial position, capital adequacy and governance and determining that policyholders, insured persons and beneficiaries would remain sufficiently protected.
