The Central Bank of the Dominican Republic will place 2025 series DOP 200 banknotes into circulation from Sept. 21, 2026. Production of the notes was commissioned through an international public tender in May 2025. The new notes retain the security features of DOP 200 banknotes already in circulation. Existing notes will remain legal tender for all public and private obligations.
