Islamic Development Bank Group Chairman Dr. Muhammad Al Jasser and Indonesian Finance Minister and IsDB Governor Suahasil Nazara reviewed six active projects totaling approximately USD 1.8 billion and discussed the next phase of the partnership. The talks focused on improving project preparation and execution through closer coordination, while developing priorities in health and strategic connectivity. The meeting preceded the planned launch of the Islamic Development Bank Group Member Country Partnership Strategy for Indonesia 2026–2030. The strategy will target connectivity, resilience, industrial upgrading, health systems and skills, supported by the group’s financing, trade, private sector and insurance capabilities. Cumulative group approvals for Indonesia have reached approximately USD 7.2 billion across about 350 operations over more than five decades.
