The US Commodity Futures Trading Commission, jointly with the Securities and Exchange Commission, has extended the compliance date for the February 8, 2024 amendments to Form PF. The deadline moves from 12 June 2025 to 1 October 2025. Until the release is published in the Federal Register, Form PF filers are instructed to continue filing the current version of Form PF. Form PF is the confidential reporting form for certain SEC-registered investment advisers to private funds, including firms also registered with the CFTC as commodity pool operators or commodity trading advisers, and the extension is intended to allow more time to program and test compliance with the amended reporting requirements.
