Securities and Exchange Commission of Zimbabwe seeks CIS Supervision Analyst for prudential and market supervision work

The Securities and Exchange Commission of Zimbabwe has published a vacancy notice for a CIS Supervision Analyst in its Operations Department. The role is centered on prudential risk-based supervision for CIS and asset management, covering market supervision and inspection work, risk assessments, investigation of market abuse cases and investor complaints, and preparation of inspection findings and enforcement recommendations. Key responsibilities include drafting supervision policies, manuals and regulatory frameworks, assessing licensees' risk profiles, internal controls, and risk policies, conducting stress tests, and issuing corrective measures and orders based on licensee risk profiles. The post also includes developing training materials and delivering training for CIS and asset managers. Applicants are expected to hold a relevant bachelor's degree, have at least two years of experience in financial services, capital markets or risk management, and demonstrate knowledge of prudential supervision, market conduct and regulatory frameworks.
