The Central Bank of Uruguay has announced that the 14th Central Banking Law Days (XIV Jornadas de Derecho Bancocentralista) will be held at the bank on 14 and 15 October 2025, as a forum focused on banking law and financial regulation. Sessions will take place in the “Enrique V. Iglesias” conference room at the Central Bank. The programme includes panels on electronic money issuer institutions, card operations and bank debits, payment systems and financial inclusion, central banking-related case law, virtual assets, the challenges posed by artificial intelligence, innovation in the legal and payments framework, and anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing, with programme and registration information made available by the Central Bank.
