The Brazil Securities Commission will deliver a 16-hour, in-person introductory securities market course for Rioprevidência employees working in finance, treasury and audit. Sessions on August 17, 18, 24 and 27 will cover market structure and operations, investment and structured funds, listed companies, accounting and auditing. The course follows discussions between the commission and Rioprevidência on a technical cooperation agreement that would, among other measures, restore the partnership that created the Financial Education School. Broader educational initiatives under the proposed cooperation could reach 420,000 civil and military public servants in Rio de Janeiro state.
