The International Monetary Fund released a “Cabo Verde: Selected Issues” paper examining Cabo Verde’s monetary policy setting and transmission, with a focus on the central bank policy rate and its relationship to long-term interest rates and the financial services sector. The 39-page study uses econometric analysis and econometric models to explore interest rate policy and the monetary transmission mechanism, and is published in the IMF Country Report series as Country Report No. 2026/054 with an accompanying DOI.
