The State Bank of Vietnam, together with Switzerland’s State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) and the Swiss Finance Institute (SFI), held a graduation ceremony in Da Nang for the 2024–2025 cohort of its SECO-funded Senior Bank Management Training Project (2021–2026), with 82 managers from Vietnamese commercial banks completing the course. The programme has been running since 2009 across three phases. Phase III, underway from 2022, comprises three training streams (Swiss BET III, IV and V) and is intended to train 240 senior and mid-level managers from Vietnamese commercial banks, with the curriculum focused on sharing banking best practices and practitioner experience.
