The Central Bank of the Republic of San Marino (BCSM) has published an Invitation to Offer for the lease or purchase of an office building that can be allocated wholly or partly to the Financial Intelligence Agency (AIF), which is established at the central bank. Eligible properties must be located in San Marino in the Castles of Acquaviva, Borgo Maggiore, Domagnano, Fiorentino, San Marino or Serravalle and meet the requirements set out in the Economic Offer Form (Ref. IMM 13/2025). Bids are due by 16:00 on 19 September 2025 and must be submitted in a sealed, signed envelope to BCSM’s Real Estate Technical Committee; clarifications can be requested until 5 September 2025. A joint BCSM-AIF technical committee will assess technical and economic aspects and select the most suitable offer, considering price and whether the proposal is for lease, purchase or a hybrid formula; BCSM may decide not to award if no bid is deemed suitable. BCSM expects to notify the winning bidder by 28 November 2025, with offers remaining irrevocable until the winner is identified and in any case until 15 December 2025.
