The Dominican Republic's Superintendency of Pensions (SIPEN) has begun a training programme for Farmacias Los Hidalgos employees to build practical understanding of the Dominican pension system, with the company set to receive SIPEN’s “Here We Know About Pensions” certification. The seal is awarded to organisations where more than 70% of employees demonstrate fundamental knowledge of the national pension system. SIPEN reported that around 550 employees have participated in virtual and in-person sessions titled “What I should know about my pension”, covering system benefits, members’ rights, and the procedures to access a pension.
