The Thailand Office of Insurance Commission and the Road Accident Victims Compensation Fund held the fourth event in their 2026 youth road safety program at Chachoengsao Technical College, reaching more than 100 students. The initiative explained compulsory motor insurance requirements, policyholder rights and the steps to claim compensation after a road accident, alongside practical training on identifying and avoiding road risks. Students were taught that compulsory motor insurance protects people injured in road accidents rather than damage to vehicles. Victims may receive preliminary compensation without waiting for a determination of fault, while every vehicle must maintain the legally required coverage. Participants were also encouraged to check whether family vehicles have continuous coverage and to share information on claims and safe driving with their households and peers.
