The Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) has announced 42 finalists for the 2025 Global FinTech Hackcelerator and the Singapore FinTech Festival (SFF) FinTech Excellence Awards, with winners to be revealed at the SFF FinTech Excellence Awards dinner on 13 November 2025. The Global FinTech Hackcelerator, organised by MAS in partnership with the Global Finance Technology Network, is themed “Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Financial Services” and has shortlisted 18 finalists with market-ready AI solutions. Finalists will take part in a four-day programme with mentoring and networking, before pitching at the Demo Day at SFF on 12 November 2025. The top three winners will each receive SGD 80,000, and corporate champions BNP Paribas, MasterCard and Prudential AI Lab may each select a finalist for a pilot, subject to interest and agreement; a new component also includes five venture capital investment partners committing approximately SGD 2.5 million in total for potential investments, subject to due diligence. For the SFF FinTech Excellence Awards, jointly organised with the Singapore FinTech Association and supported by PwC Singapore, 155 submissions were received across five corporate categories and an individual FinTech Mentor Award, with four finalists shortlisted in each category; nine sponsors are supporting the ‘FinTech Gives Back’ initiative.
