Hong Kong's Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau announced that the Financial Secretary, acting under authority delegated by the Chief Executive under the Securities and Futures Ordinance, has reappointed Vincent Chan Chun-hung and appointed Bernard Man, SC, as non-executive directors of the Securities and Futures Commission. Both appointments run for two years from Aug. 1, 2026. The update keeps Chan on the SFC board and adds Man, whose experience was described as covering securities and regulatory matters as well as banking and corporate disputes. The bureau also said Chan had contributed to the promotion of good corporate governance at the SFC, and it thanked outgoing non-executive director Victor Dawes, SC, for his six years of service.
