The International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) has launched an artificial intelligence agent that enables users of its Digital Regulatory Reporting (DRR) solution to trace when and why reporting interpretations and coding decisions were made. The DRR Tracer Agent extracts information from ISDA working group discussions and documentation to provide a searchable, auditable record linking those decisions to regulatory reporting requirements. The launch follows ISDA’s selection of Gentek AI in March 2026 to develop the traceability tool. The agent makes the reasoning behind DRR code accessible beyond those involved in the original discussions. Anyone with an ISDA account can access it, while ISDA members can also access relevant working group meeting minutes. DRR converts a common interpretation of reporting rules, reviewed and agreed by an industry committee, into executable code using the open source Common Domain Model. The solution has been applied to nine reporting regimes globally, and ISDA has committed to supporting 14 reporting rule sets across nine jurisdictions.
