The National Bank of Moldova has initiated work on a draft decision to amend the framework for setting the official exchange rate of the Moldovan leu, with the aim of updating the list of foreign currencies against which the leu is quoted. The changes would revise Annex 1 to the Regulation on establishing the official exchange rate of the Moldovan leu against foreign currencies, adopted under the National Bank of Moldova Administrative Council Decision No. 3/2009. Proposals and recommendations on the draft are invited until 16 October 2025.
