The Angola Capital Markets Commission signed a cooperation protocol with the State Intelligence and Security Service (SINSE) on 29 April 2025 to formalise mutual cooperation and information sharing within each institution’s legal and statutory remit, focused on preventing and combating money laundering, terrorist financing and the financing of the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. The arrangement also envisages cooperation on staff training and capacity building, and is positioned as supporting investor protection and the integrity of Angola’s financial system by helping prevent financial risks and promote efficiency in the securities market.
