South Korea's Ministry of Economy and Finance reported that Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance and Economy Koo Yun-cheol met Khaldoon Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office, in Seoul to discuss implementing follow-up measures from the November 2025 Korea–UAE summit and strengthening bilateral investment cooperation, including in artificial intelligence and other advanced technologies. The talks focused on using the bilateral cooperation channel to support strategic cooperation, including UAE investment in Korean companies, facilitating Korean companies’ entry into the United Arab Emirates, and joint expansion into third-country markets. Both sides agreed to further strengthen cooperation and shared views on measures to support effective implementation of the summit follow-up agenda.
