Argentina Securities Commission (CNV) President Roberto E. Silva spoke at the Universidad Católica Argentina’s second Jornada en Derecho Empresario Económico, outlining CNV regulatory progress on asset tokenization, including the creation and approval of a Tokenization Regime, and briefly referring to the regulation of Virtual Asset Service Providers (Proveedores de Servicios de Activos Virtuales, PSAVs). Silva delivered his remarks in a panel on “Asset Tokenization: regulation and existing possibilities” alongside Alastria Blockchain Ecosystem co-founder Javier Ibáñez Jiménez and lawyer Martín Paolantonio, moderated by Diego Serrano Redonnet. He framed tokenization and PSAV regulation as part of a broader agenda on financial innovation, modernization, and capital markets development, and highlighted them as among the more than 100 regulations issued during his administration.
