The Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan is conducting its next “Households’ financial behaviour and intentions” survey for the first quarter of 2026, aiming to collect information on household consumption and saving behaviour, debt burdens and debt-servicing capacity, and inflation expectations. The central bank notes that the results are used to support the analysis and forecasting of macroeconomic and financial indicators and to inform monetary policy and financial stability decision-making. Since 2025, the survey has been conducted in digital format on the central bank’s official website to reach a broad respondent base, and it is planned to run quarterly, four times per year.
