The White House transmitted a set of nominations to the Senate that includes Stephen Miran to serve as a Member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. Miran was nominated for the unexpired portion of a fourteen-year term running from February 1, 2012. The same submission also included nominations for US diplomatic posts, including the Deputy Representative to the United Nations and ambassadors to Bangladesh, India, Bahrain, Jordan, and Iceland, as well as multiple federal and District of Columbia judicial appointments.
