The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), in collaboration with Market Infrastructure Institutions including BSE and NSE, has inaugurated a PAN-India Bond Issuer Outreach Program in Mumbai to support the strengthening of India’s corporate bond ecosystem. Alongside the outreach initiative, SEBI, BSE and NSE launched a documentary on the development of the bond market and a set of Investor Awareness and Protection Videos aimed at increasing investor understanding of corporate bonds nationwide. The program is positioned as a mechanism to deepen engagement with both issuers and investors, with the stated aim of supporting efficient capital formation and broader market participation.
